Claire's creative endeavors showcase an ability to dynamically blend voices, disciplines, and perspectives. With training in collaborative writing, color photography, set design, graphic design, piano, and traditional oil painting, she is always up to something - and always looking for collaborators.

Claire is the first of her family to be born outside of the UK, growing up in Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire and outside of Boston, Massachusetts. She is a blend of two cultures, British and Bostonian.

She started painting, writing music, poetry and plays at 15, staging her first one-act for the Boston Globe Drama Festival where she received a Triple-Threat award for Acting/Directing/Producing.

As an undergraduate at Smith College, she studied Fine Arts, Theater and Film Theory, spending 18 months in the UK at Slade School of Fine Arts/University College London and Ivy House/Middlesex University, London.

She then landed representation with a theatrical agent in New York and began treading a well-worn route between Boston and NYC. During this time she established Oh Sh*t productions and produced a series of music, theater and performance art, in between auditions for main-stream tv and feature films, making a living as a hand-drafted sign artist.

With a love/hate relationship to NYC firmly established, she returned to Cambridge to raise her son.
